«RussianTown» magazine is an unofficial, but acknowledged
mass media for the Russian-speaking community
of the southeast United States.
Our readers are people who have gone through
a difficult period of adaptation and have
settled in a new land, people who have set
and achieved a lot of personal goals. Some
of these goals are to establish their material
well being, to afford a new house and a fancy
car, to travel in and outside the country,
and to offer a good education for the children.

“RussianTown” magazine is the first free publication
in Russian distributed in the southeastern
United States. Yet, this is not the main
criterion for determining the targeted audience.
The magazine
is a source of news, information,
and, of course,
advertising for every citizen
of the country.
This is why it’s also published
electronically.
The age of our readers is between 35 and
65 years old. Our readership consists of
about 210,000 people living in the southeast.
The magazine enjoys popularity among so many
people because all of them are united by
a common interest – an interest for life.
In spite of
their heavy workload, our readers
find time to
take an active part in the social
life of their
community.
The best example is the Russian-American
Federation, which founded to unite the Russian-speaking
population in the state of Georgia.

We believe that a mass medium has to target
everybody, regardless of their age, sex,
religion, political views, ambitions, interests,
and hobbies. This doesn’t divide our readers,
but, on the contrary, it unites them into
one big army of “RussianTown” followers.
